Promotions & Entertainment Manager
About The Position
The Promotions & Entertainment Manager works directly with the VP of Marketing to provide strategic direction and oversight for all special events, promotions, and nightly entertainment. This role is responsible for the strategic planning, execution, and management of the organization's promotional and event programming, including retail and VIP events. Key responsibilities also include personnel management, budget oversight, maintaining vendor relationships, and resolution of guest service matters, all in alignment with Company standards, policies, and procedures. This position will report directly to the VP of Marketing.
Requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form.
- Public relations skills and knowledge of general casino operations.
- Strong analytical abilities.
- Ability to design and implement casino marketing programs.
- Must possess and exhibit a positive attitude towards internal and external guests at all times.
- Must possess strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Must be able to accurately and successfully perform several tasks under high levels of stress and with minimal supervision.
- Must possess strong organizational and time management skills.
- Must be able to communicate in an effective, informative, and professional manner and be able to convey denials and/or defuse hostile guest situations with ease and tact.
- Thorough knowledge of Casino Marketing responsibilities and functions.
- Strong knowledge of casino management systems (i.e. CMS, player tracking).
- Ability to accurately work and/or manage multiple projects under demanding circumstances.
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred.
- Minimum of three (3) years in casino/gaming marketing management required.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Gaming License from the Tribal Gaming Commission, which includes passing a background investigation.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for practicing, supporting, and promoting North Fork Mono Casino's culture and always demonstrating exemplary Service Standards.
- Formulate and execute comprehensive strategies to target, acquire, and retain players, including VIP programs, rewards, and special events.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with casino guests, ensuring personalized and world-class service.
- Evaluate the performance of casino marketing programs, ensuring they align with business goals.
- Develop and manage budgets for promotions and events, and entertainment areas.
- Collaborate with marketing and other departments to ensure a seamless player experience.
- Analyze player data and gaming trends to identify key opportunities for customer engagement and revenue enhancement.
- Ensure compliance with all gaming regulations, internal controls, and responsible gaming practices.
- Develop and implement all Standard Operating Procedures for promotions, special events, and entertainment.
- Develop and implement all entertainment schedules and talent booking.
- Monitor and report all operational issues to the VP of Marketing.
- Responsible for ensuring that staff payroll is completed and approved prior to the close of payroll deadline.
- Other job-related duties as assigned.
