About The Position

The Promotions Coordinator provides comprehensive support to the Columbus Arena Sports & Entertainment (CASE) Marketing team, contributing to the planning, coordination, and execution of promotions intended to bring awareness to high-profile events across all CASE venues (Schottenstein Center, Nationwide Arena, Ohio Stadium, Mershon Auditorium) plus select off-site locations. This role is designed for a highly motivated individual seeking hands-on experience in special event promotion and marketing. Working closely with the CASE Interactive Director and Communications team, the Coordinator plays an integral role in advancing strategic promotional initiatives that enhance event visibility, drive ticket sales, and strengthen relationships with promoter partners. The position also supports a variety of marketing projects and initiatives aligned with CASE’s broader organizational goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience).
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by event schedules.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and execution of targeted promotional campaigns for concerts and special events across multiple venues.
  • Coordinate logistics and on-site support with media, social media and backstage activities for events.
  • Collaborate with the Interactive Director/Communications team to create digital and traditional marketing assets, including social media content, e-blasts and supporting materials.
  • Support promotional efforts designed to increase fan engagement.
  • Assist in general promotional efforts intended to enhance promoter partner satisfaction and individual event success.
  • Monitor and report on marketing campaign effectiveness and ticket sales.
  • Serve as a liaison with internal staff as needed to communicate marketing efforts/ impacts.
  • Work closely with the CASE Marketing team to coordinate event promotion and advertising expenses for settlement with clients.
  • Contribute to special projects and other duties as assigned to support CASE partners and departmental objectives.
