About The Position

Join our Promotions Team! Quechan Casino Resort/Paradise Casino is seeking a candidate who enjoys a fun fast environment within a casino promotions environment with flexibility to work a variety of hours including weekends.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • At least two (2) years’ experience in event planning, entertainment or promotions execution experience required
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with an ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
  • Must be 21 years of age
  • Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen
  • Must be able to successfully pass a background investigation to obtain and maintain gaming license in California and Arizona.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s degree in marketing, or related field.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.
  • Native American preference and/or experience with Native American culture and government preferred.
  • Tribal preference will be given to qualified Tribal members.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, develop, and implement all property promotions and events in collaboration with the team.
  • Assist with the logistical details of artist and show production, including food, transportation, and other needs as required.
  • Coordinate promotional event details, such as ordering products, displaying items, and managing the setup and teardown of giveaways.
  • Work with cross-property teams to ensure promotions and events are executed consistently across locations.
  • Support box office operations, including ticketing procedures, accounting, and issue resolution.
  • Create and distribute internal and external communications related to entertainment, promotions, events, and employee updates.
  • Manage administrative tasks such as creating purchase orders, maintaining files, and ensuring accurate billing through proper GL coding.
  • Attend and oversee the execution of entertainment events, promotions, and property-wide activities.
  • Handle the logistics of decorations, props, and rental items, ensuring timely delivery and return.
  • Maintain and secure all event-related documentation, including winners' forms and reports, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Support company management through special projects as needed.
  • Run errands related to events, including gathering photos, materials, and props.
  • Conduct post-event evaluations to assess the effectiveness and areas for improvement.
  • Perform regular audits of coupons and other promotional materials.
  • Foster strong relationships with vendors to ensure smooth collaboration and delivery of promotional materials.
  • Develop clear and concise promotional rules, procedures, and internal communications for staff.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, industry standards, and practices.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
