About The Position

ONEOK is seeking a Projects Scheduler to provide support for project planning on engineering projects. This role ensures project results meet requirements for technical quality, reliability, constructability, schedule, and cost. The position involves supporting internal and external resources and communicating with vendors, contractors, and customers. This is a hybrid role based in Dallas, Texas, requiring work in the office on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, with remote work on Wednesdays and Fridays.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree in construction science or a closely related discipline and/or a combination of formal education and 0-1 years of experience.
  • Experience with and knowledge of operations for processing, pipeline, and related facility design, construction, maintenance, and operation projects is preferred.
  • Training and/or knowledge of project management, including scoping, estimating, identifying specifications, scheduling, executing contracts, procuring materials, managing construction, commissioning and startup, budgeting, conducting financial analyses, and ensuring regulatory compliance is preferred.
  • Experience in coordinating teams from various workgroups.
  • Experience managing relationships with internal and external contacts and engaging cooperation from all resources.
  • Experience identifying, researching, evaluating, and prioritizing problems and situations; providing recommendations for appropriate actions or alternatives.
  • Experience researching, composing, preparing, and administering contracts, engineering studies, policies, procedures, reports, and technical correspondence is preferred.
  • Experience reading and interpreting governmental regulations, codes, manuals, policies, procedures, contracts, specifications, and various reports and correspondence is preferred.
  • Ability to apply math and algebraic formulas.
  • Ability to communicate and/or exchange information or instructions both written and verbal.
  • Ability to consistently meet project deadlines.
  • Ability to interact, advise, negotiate, and communicate effectively.
  • Ability to develop information and make presentations to groups and individuals.

Responsibilities

  • Support project execution activities related to construction, including plant, pipeline, and associated facility construction and operation and maintenance projects.
  • Support the project team by executing the project vision and obtaining necessary resources, including vetting and recommending contractors and vendors, and purchasing equipment.
  • Support material logistics and coordination for construction projects, from procurement through receiving and payment.
  • Support the execution of scope definition, including cost estimating, scheduling, designing, preparing bid instructions and bidding, procuring materials, managing construction, record keeping, and right-of-way clearing.
  • Support the development, implementation, and management of project plans, including cost estimates, quality assurance, commissioning, and project closure to ensure projects are completed on time and on budget with satisfactory quality.
  • Prepare and maintain schedule documents for projects and project proposals.
  • Prepare reports for management and maintain all essential records and reports.
  • Assemble and prepare cost reports.
  • Prepare work orders and assist with invoice reviews for payment approvals.
  • Participate in regular meetings with project management and construction crews to review schedule and budget.
  • Assist with compiling all construction-related documentation to ensure completeness, accuracy, and submission according to company expectations.
  • May assist in ensuring regulatory and/or compliance related to project management and outcomes.
