Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain Management or related field required
  • 3-5 years of experience in international supply chain or logistics role
  • 3-5 years of experience with SAP
  • Professional and effective communication and representation skills.
  • Ability to sit, stand and have mobility to move around the office or manufacturing environment, when needed.
  • Ability to conduct extended computer work and lead discussions with employees.
  • Visits to customer facilities and plants may require extended standing and walking.
  • Ability to lift, move and manipulate parts required.

Responsibilities

  • Define, quote, and optimize packaging concepts during Acquisition, ensuring cost‑efficiency and alignment with standards.
  • Transform concepts into detailed packaging studies and validate prototypes through static/dynamic trials with all involved parties.
  • Create and define Supply Chain concepts (transport, loops, delivery methods, IT, VSM) during Acquisition with limited initial inputs.
  • Validate and update the Supply Chain definition with plants, suppliers, and customers as product and packaging mature.
  • Collaborate with Acquisition, Program, Process Engineering, Purchasing and Plant Logistics to ensure logistics feasibility in all program decisions.
  • Provide logistics inputs for Make/Buy and footprint evaluations, ensuring aligned and synergistic solutions.
  • Follow and validate the construction of pre‑series and series packaging, including IT system readiness for full Supply Chain integration.
  • Finalize logistics validations, flow diagrams, agreements, and conventions prior to Mass Production, ensuring full compliance.
  • Produce and update all packaging specifications, instructions, logistics conventions, and technical documentation along all phases.
  • Incorporate improvements from prototype and pre‑series phases, deploying standardized solutions across programs.
