About The Position

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking an Electrical Projects Engineering Lead for its Infra Electrical Projects Team. The role serves as the front-line leader and technical representative for critical electrical infrastructure, overseeing strategic CAPEX roadmaps, end-of-life retrofits, and capacity expansion projects that support the reliability of semiconductor fabrication facilities. The lead bridges executive planning and technical execution to ensure power distribution systems are scalable, safe, and resilient, while mentoring engineers and managing delivery of manufacturing infrastructure. The role provides direct supervision, coaching, performance management, and technical development for electrical project engineers. It leads technical governance for power distribution design, code compliance, safety validation, Arc-Flash analysis, electrical specifications, and application of industry standards. The lead oversees projects from feasibility and conceptual design through construction, turnover, and operations, and manages external design consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and cross-functional stakeholders. The position also leads QA/QC review of engineering deliverables and vendor proposals, supports internal and external ISO 50001 audits, and advances sustainability and energy-efficiency initiatives. This is a full-time, on-site position. Employment may be contingent on verification of U.S. Person status or timely acquisition of an export license.
