Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Some technical courses or on the job training in related field.
  • Mechanical Background (Mechanics, Machining)
  • 1+ year of experience in related field
  • Requires basic knowledge of standard technical issues and tools
  • Typically responsible for performing tasks of moderate complexity
  • Capable of using reason and logic in problem solving
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Good computer and typical office software skills
  • Basic Test Rig Building
  • Basic Manufacturing and Assembly Processes
  • SAP Navigation and Use
  • Basic MS Office Software

Nice To Haves

  • Able to read drawings and knowledge of GD&T is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Recognizes and resolves routine process and equipment problems and refers more complex issues to higher levels.
  • Extracts engineering data from various sources and processes the data following well-defined methods or procedures (elementary algebra, geometry)
  • Presents data and necessary details of findings in standard formats; point out deviations resulting from equipment malfunction or other general observations
  • May train and review the work of new technicians to basic standards
  • Works with engineers to support daily manufacturing and assembly needs
  • Supports department needs and duties in KPI’s, order cell, product returns, DPS’s, and projects.
