About The Position
The Project Technician handles the prepping/prioritizing of files for the MultiJet Fusion Machines. They will oversee setting up quick turn prototype builds as well as long term production runs and they will be responsible for overseeing the project from set-up to final QA.
Requirements
- Must be able to navigate comfortably on computer
- Must have a good eye for details
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excels at time management and multitasking
- Must have solid organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- 2-3 years Microsoft Office experience
- Familiarity with AutoCAD/Solidworks and/or other 3D modeling or CAD software
- High school diploma minimum
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, gloves, and protective footwear
Responsibilities
- Process and review customer files prior to production
- Prepare build platforms to maximize production efficiency
- Daily prioritization of jobs flowing through department to meet scheduling requirements
- Communicate Job Sheet Details to Printer Operators
- Communicate part details with Quality Dept.
- Assist in the operation of AM Lab Printers
- Assist in various stages of production as needed
- Complete additional tasks upon manager’s request
- Maintain a safe work environment
- Promote a positive work environment
