About The Position

Stone Security, part of BearCom, is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Technician to join its growing team in the Phoenix/Tempe, Arizona area. The role installs and services security systems and supports assigned projects from installation through system start-up, certification, and customer training. Travel is required. Stone describes the position as part of a dynamic team and offers on-the-job training and support for professional development.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Three years of related work experience.
Three years of experience installing network camera systems, including Milestone, Axis, Hanwha, and Bosch.
Three years of experience installing security systems, including DMP and Bosch.
Three years of experience installing access control systems, including Lenel and S2.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Proven track record of leading a security installation team.
Ability to use hand and power tools to install hardware.
Ability to stand, kneel, bend, and climb ladders for prolonged periods.
Physical ability to install system hardware and wiring.
Ability to lift 35 pounds at a time.

Responsibilities

Install, program, start up, check out, and certify systems on assigned projects, and provide customer training.
Run wiring, install hardware, and field-terminate devices.
Inspect and test systems, batteries, and wiring; make adjustments and repairs as needed.
Replace malfunctioning hardware when necessary.
Ensure installations comply with Stone Security standards.
Use basic blueprints, schematics, manuals, and other specifications to determine installation procedures independently; seek assistance with more complex specifications as needed.
Perform other related duties as required.
Travel as required.
