About The Position

The Maintenance Technician is a key position in our Phoenix, AZ concrete production facility. This position is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining complex industrial machinery and equipment within our manufacturing facility, ensuring smooth operation by performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting malfunctions, and making necessary repairs to electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components, often utilizing technical manuals, blueprints, and diagnostic tools to identify and resolve issues efficiently. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you’ll primarily work with the production and yard team.

Requirements

• Demonstrated maintenance experience.
• Between 2 to 5 years of previous related experience.
• Ability to utilize basic tools to perform routine maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Enthusiastic and motivated in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-starter able to prioritize and execute a long to-do list.
• Does not take shortcuts and sees a job to completion.
• Safety conscious not just for yourself, but for your team.

Responsibilities

• Regularly inspecting and servicing machinery according to scheduled maintenance plans to detect potential problems before they occur.
• Diagnosing and fixing equipment breakdowns involving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Installing new machinery and components, ensuring proper alignment and functionality.
• Adjusting and calibrating equipment to optimal operating specifications.
• Identifying and replacing worn or damaged parts on machinery.
• Maintaining detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs.
• Adhering to all safety protocols and regulations while performing maintenance tasks.
