About The Position

As a Project Technician 2, you’ll travel to customer facilities across the country, applying your mechanical skills to industrial cleaning, maintenance, and equipment reliability projects. You’ll perform routine field work with limited supervision while building specialized technical skills. This position requires extensive travel, including several weeks away from home and assignments with limited notice. Schedules may include days, nights, weekends, 12-hour shifts, and consecutive workdays.

Requirements

  • At least 90 days of relevant experience in industrial project execution, industrial equipment and systems, and cleaning or reliability services
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to perform routine field work with limited supervision
  • Ability to follow technical instructions and accurately document project information
  • Dependability, teamwork, and a commitment to safety
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to meet company driving requirements
  • Ability to meet applicable pre-employment and site requirements and obtain required credentials, including a TWIC card when applicable

Nice To Haves

  • One year of industrial project or equipment experience and six months in cleaning or reliability services
  • Experience with pumps, piping, flushing, chemical cleaning, filtration, or plant outages
  • Class A CDL
  • OSHA 10/30
  • HASC training
  • Forklift certification
  • Technical education

Responsibilities

  • Set up, operate, monitor, and tear down pumps, hoses, piping, filtration equipment, and temporary systems
  • Perform high-velocity flushing, chemical cleaning, decontamination, filtration, and fluid transfer activities
  • Complete pipe-fitting, equipment inspections, fluid sampling, basic testing, and project documentation
  • Read and follow technical drawings, work procedures, permits, and safety documents
  • Support mobilization, equipment inventories, and site setup and teardown
  • Identify and report equipment issues and safety concerns while following company and customer requirements
