About The Position

The Roosevelt at Salt Creek is recruiting for a hospitality focused Housekeeping Associate to join our team! This position is responsible for performing housekeeping and laundry functions throughout the community. The Project Technician (Floor Tech) will maintain all floors of common areas, including carpet, ceramic tile, and surrounding areas. This role involves stripping wax from floors, buffing floors, and maintaining floor equipment. Additionally, the position supports inventory and ordering of supplies, cleaning trash rooms, assisting with annual cleanings, and reporting any necessary repairs to the supervisor. The role also emphasizes maintaining a clean and safe work area and contributing to a culture that drives revenue and occupancy.

Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
Three to six months experience in housekeeping or janitorial position preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintain all floors of common areas, to include carpet, ceramic tile and vicinity.
Strip wax from floors.
Buff floors.
Maintain floor equipment.
Assist supervisor with inventory and ordering of supplies.
Clean all trash rooms.
Assist housekeepers with annual cleanings.
Notify supervisor of any and all repairs that may be needed, concerning floors and equipment.
Maintain a clean and safe work and storage area. Dispose of debris and defective materials.
Supports creating a culture where the business decisions made in this position, along with individual employee engagement, drive top-line revenue and occupancy.

Responsible for performing a variety of housekeeping and floor care functions to maintain an attractive, clean, and comfortable environment to meet the needs of residents.
