About The Position

Join Hitachi Energy and help deliver critical substation infrastructure that supports the reliability, safety, and performance of the power grid. In this role, you will manage Secondary Engineering (Control & Protection) activities across the full lifecycle of Air-Insulated Substation (AIS) and Gas-Insulated Substation (GIS) projects ranging from 69kV to 765kV. You will work on a wide range of engineering activities, including protection philosophies, communication architectures, AC/DC schematic design, substation automation, and detailed engineering documentation. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, customers, and commissioning personnel, you will help develop practical and cost-effective solutions for complex projects while supporting successful project execution from design through construction and commissioning. Your work will contribute directly to dependable grid operation, project quality, and continuous improvement initiatives while providing opportunities to expand your technical expertise across advanced substation technologies and protection systems.
