The Project Surveyor will be responsible for preparing and reviewing various types of surveys, including boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, easement, and subdivision surveys. This role involves extensive research of deeds, plats, title commitments, easements, and public records. The Project Surveyor will perform survey calculations, coordinate geometry analysis, and process/analyze survey field data using modern survey software. Additionally, the role includes preparing metes and bounds descriptions and exhibit drawings, coordinating with various stakeholders such as civil engineers, project managers, utility providers, municipalities, and clients. The Project Surveyor will also assist with platting, entitlement, and land development projects, support survey crews with office calculations and stakeout information, and ensure compliance with Texas surveying standards and regulations. Maintaining project schedules, budgets, and deliverable quality is also a key aspect of this position.
