About The Position

The Regional Project Support Specialist - Travel supports the Patient Transportation and Patient Observation services through new business start-ups, account audits, project rollouts, program enhancements, and interim operational leadership support. This role partners with regional leadership, on-site management teams, and client stakeholders to implement assigned initiatives, stabilize operations, monitor performance, and support achievement of desired business, quality, compliance, and service outcomes. The position may provide temporary management support for accounts experiencing leadership vacancies or elevated operational needs and will serve in an operational support capacity for new and existing business as assigned. The role requires significant travel, generally 60-70%, based on business needs and assignments from regional leadership.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Required to complete and successfully pass a company-provided CPR or BLS class.
  • Effective organizational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task, establish priorities, and execute assigned programs.
  • General business acumen and ability to understand how operational performance, client relationships, staffing, and financial expectations connect to business outcomes.
  • Proficiency with Windows-based office software, including Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe, Outlook, and related business systems.
  • Ability to travel approximately 60-70%, including overnight travel and extended stays, based on business needs and assignments from regional leadership.

  • Patient Transportation/Observation, project management, account start up, operational leadership, or healthcare support services experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support regional project work, including new business start ups, account transitions, project rollouts, process improvements, and program enhancements.
  • Assist in developing, coordinating, and executing project plans, start-up plans, timelines, training materials, communication plans, and resources necessary for successful implementation.
  • Monitor project progress, identify barriers, communicate risks, and recommend solutions to regional leadership and account teams.
  • Support sales surveys, site tours, client presentations, and operational assessments as requested.
  • Provide interim or supplemental management support for accounts experiencing leader vacancies, transitions, operational instability, or increased business needs.
  • Support daily Patient Transportation/Observation operations, including service coordination, patient and customer satisfaction, program quality standards, productivity, and performance improvement.
  • Support accounts in conducting internal audits, risk assessments, compliance reviews, and operational readiness assessments.
  • Partner with on-site management teams to support orientation, initial training, ongoing training, and education of hourly staff, supervisors, managers, and management trainees.
