What the job involves: We are currently seeking a Summer Intern in Communications to join our team. In this role, you will learn what it's like to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, team-oriented environment. Interns are an important part of what makes JLL a great place to work. Within our program, you will gain valuable insight into the commercial real estate industry, elevate your communications and marketing skillsets, while being exposed to multiple lines of business over the course of your internship.

Requirements

  • Actively pursuing a bachelor's degree, with 2-3 years completed majoring in Communications, Marketing, English, Real Estate, Business Administration, or related fields
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Graphic design experience
  • Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple projects
  • Ability to think critically and problem solve
  • Microsoft Office proficient
  • Permanent US work authorization required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop captivating communication and marketing materials: Create compelling templates and copy for various communication initiatives
  • Craft engaging written communications: Design visually appealing PowerPoint presentations that effectively convey key messages
  • Provide meeting facilitation support: Ensure smooth operations and effective coordination of team meetings
  • Conduct thorough research: Gather and analyze information to support strategic communications initiatives
  • Maintain and update SharePoint platform: Ensure easy access to information and resources for the team
  • Support Diversity, Equity & Inclusion efforts: Contribute to team recognition initiatives and foster an inclusive workplace culture
  • Collaborate on video creation projects: Contribute to special initiatives and multimedia content development
  • Enhance communication skills: Gain practical experience in a fast-paced professional environment
