About The Position

The Project Superintendent manages assigned special projects and customers, coordinating with other superintendents or technical representatives to deliver projects on time and within budget. The role oversees field crews and subcontractors and manages project administration, scheduling, quality control, inspections, compliance with contract documents, and resolution of project issues. The superintendent also coordinates subcontractors with owner operations, verifies that specifications meet Tremco standards, reports on project status, and works to ensure owner satisfaction. Extensive travel is required, including willingness to travel throughout the assigned area as needed.

Requirements

10 years of experience in commercial or industrial built-up roofing systems, or 5 years as a foreman for BUR systems, materials, and applications.
Experience with single-ply roofing systems, building construction, and field fabrication of metal work.
Computer literacy and ability to use Microsoft 365, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Willingness to travel 100% of the assigned area as needed.

Responsibilities

Manage field crews and subcontractors on commercial and industrial roofing construction projects.
Schedule and manage subcontractors.
Implement and understand project administration requirements.
Create and update project schedules, keeping projects on schedule and operating efficiently.
Manage project quality control.
Control and schedule field inspections.
Verify that project work complies with contract documents.
Resolve project issues and problems.
Coordinate subcontractors with owner operations and ensure specifications are followed in accordance with Tremco standards.
Generate project status reports and ensure owner satisfaction.
Maintain project records and interact with owners, subcontractors, and senior leadership.
Uphold health and safety management in compliance with applicable codes, laws, and Tremco policy.
