About The Position

As a Project Superintendent, you’ll direct onsite execution for assigned site work/civil construction projects—keeping production moving, plans clear, and the job on track through closeout. You’ll own the field plan, align crews and partners, and maintain tight coordination so work is completed safely, on time, and to spec. Lake Shore Paving is a site work/ civil construction contractor in Jamestown, NY. We build projects that range in size from $100k to $20 million. Requirements

Proven knowledge of site work and civil construction
Strong attention to detail
Working knowledge of scheduling for site/civil construction

Responsibilities

Build and manage the day-to-day and look-ahead schedule through project completion
Order materials and coordinate deliveries to match the work plan
Schedule and manage subcontractors and field activities
Coordinate with the owner’s representative to keep communication and progress smooth
Review progress from yesterday and setting priorities for the day
Walk the site to confirm conditions match the plan
Check in with foremen, vendors, and subs as they arrive, adjusting timing as needed to keep momentum
Verify upcoming needs so tomorrow’s work is ready
Confirm deliveries, review what’s complete, and line up the next steps
