KIRCO MANIX Construction (KMC) is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to join our growing team. This individual will serve as a key field leader responsible for overseeing commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout while ensuring excellence in safety, quality, schedule, budget, and client satisfaction. Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (or equivalent construction experience).
  • Commercial construction experience leading field operations on ground-up and renovation projects.
  • Experience in one or more commercial sectors including office, industrial, healthcare, senior living, mixed-use, retail, or build-to-suit developments.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, scheduling, site development, MEP coordination, and project delivery processes.
  • Experience working with Procore, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Bluebeam, Microsoft 365, or similar construction technologies.
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a dynamic construction environment.
  • A strong field leader who builds trust and credibility with project teams.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Project Managers, Owners, Architects, Engineers, and consultants during project planning and preconstruction.
  • Support constructability reviews, project scheduling, logistics planning, permitting, and site mobilization activities.
  • Assist in developing project execution strategies focused on safety, quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction.
  • Participate in site organization, temporary facilities planning, and construction sequencing.
  • Lead daily on-site construction activities and coordinate all subcontractor operations.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of project plans, specifications, contracts, and schedule requirements.
  • Monitor project progress and proactively address issues affecting safety, quality, schedule, or budget.
  • Conduct subcontractor coordination meetings and communicate project updates to stakeholders.
  • Ensure accurate and timely project documentation through Procore and other project management platforms.
  • Manage project closeout activities, punch lists, turnover documentation, and warranty coordination.
  • Champion a safety-first culture and enforce all OSHA and company safety requirements.
  • Conduct site safety inspections, pre-task planning meetings, and safety observations.
  • Implement quality control procedures to ensure work meets contract documents and company standards.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks before they impact project performance.
  • Serve as a primary field representative with owners, design professionals, subcontractors, inspectors, and consultants.
  • Foster strong relationships with project stakeholders and maintain a solutions-oriented approach.
  • Mentor and support field personnel while promoting teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to a positive project culture that reflects KIRCO's values and reputation for excellence.
