About The Position

Michels Construction, Inc. is seeking a Project Superintendent for Heavy Civil projects. This role is crucial for designing and constructing foundations and industrial facilities, ensuring essential infrastructure is built. As a Project Superintendent, you will direct the activities of workers, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and coordinate with various stakeholders including the General Superintendent, Safety staff, foremen, and Project Managers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of related experience and/or training in construction industry
• Experience with heavy civil and alternative delivery projects
• Experience with structural concrete construction and subcontract management
• Must possess a valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles which may be driven and an acceptable driving record as determined by the Michels Review Team
• Ability to travel and commit to long term onsite projects

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of forming systems, mix designs and admixtures desired

Responsibilities

• Direct the activities of workers by performing duties personally or through subordinates.
• Be responsible for multiple projects at once.
• Communicate and coordinate with the General Superintendent, Michels Safety staff, foremen, Project Managers, etc.
