About The Position

The Project Specialist will support the end-to-end execution of departmental projects and strategic initiatives. This role provides backup coverage for IPB associates, ensuring continuity of critical business processes and client service. The specialist will also support business continuity efforts by serving as a flexible resource for operational needs and workload balancing within the IPB team. Key responsibilities include reviewing and processing client documentation for accuracy and compliance, developing guides and checklists to streamline processes, and supporting system upgrades and the implementation of new tools. Additionally, the role assists in creating and maintaining internal policies, producing reports and dashboards, onboarding and training new hires, and supporting control reviews, audit responses, and compliance changes.

  • Ability to interpret report results and formulate changes or improvements in response to results.
  • Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, and staff.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations.
  • Intermediate PC skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • High School diploma or GED Equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 of related experience in Banking, compliance, project management, or data analytics.

Responsibilities

  • Support business continuity efforts by serving as a flexible resource for operational needs and workload balancing within the IPB team.
  • Review and process client documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop guides and checklists to streamline processes and support operational efficiency.
  • Support system upgrades, testing, and implementation of new tools and processes.
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of internal policies and procedures for IPB operations.
  • Assist in providing data and logic to design and produce reports and dashboards for operational and analytical support.
  • Assist with onboarding and training for new/existing hires to ensure compliance and operational readiness.
  • Assist in control reviews, audit responses, and remediation efforts related to project initiatives.
  • Support implementation of compliance and regulatory changes impacting IPB.
