About The Position

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Project Specialist to support the operational needs of its commercial and residential energy-efficiency programs. This position supports Energy Consultants, installation partners, contractors, and customers throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Energy-efficiency program experience.
  • Ability to understand and follow established procedures.
  • Strong data-entry, communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to quickly evaluate information and take appropriate action to maintain workflow.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage changing priorities and multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.
  • Working knowledge of invoices, equipment specifications, and operational processes.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
  • Ability to create, manage, and upload documents, files, and Excel workbooks.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics or a similar CRM platform.
  • Professional demeanor and a desire to improve processes and support program goals.
  • Must be a NJ resident.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree from an accredited college in a related field.
  • Three or more years of experience supporting customer-focused programs.
  • Advanced Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
  • Demonstrated success developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers, clients, and program partners.
  • Ability to present program information and participation requirements to various audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Create and process energy-efficiency projects and applications.
  • Review submitted documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with program requirements.
  • Process project rebates accurately and on schedule.
  • Manage multiple programs, dashboards, and work queues to ensure projects continue progressing.
  • Follow up on responses and documentation from contractors and customers.
  • Verify that all project requirements have been satisfied before advancing applications.
  • Use Microsoft Dynamics CRM to track applications through required milestones.
  • Collaborate across functional teams to ensure timely responses to customers and program partners.
  • Escalate issues and exceptions to the appropriate parties for resolution.
  • Monitor application volumes and communicate trends that could cause processing delays.
  • Recommend improvements to program processes and overall service delivery.
  • Maintain a high level of customer and contractor satisfaction.
  • Cross-train team members on program requirements and procedures.
  • Participate in occasional marketing events and conferences in New Brunswick, New Jersey.
