About The Position

The Project Specialist will assist with communication and coordinating project activities assigned by Luminis Healthcare Enterprises leadership. This position will work with internal clients on their project plans, fiscal management, and schedule management. The role serves as a primary point of contact to various LHCE practice leadership as it pertains to any given project. The Project Specialist has day-to-day accountability for the operation and administrative performance of the assigned ambulatory programs, projects, and initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of experience
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in healthcare field or project management
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and conflicting demands.
  • High motivation and achievement orientation

Nice To Haves

  • Project Management Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supports LHCE leadership to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high quality standards and meet assigned expectations.
  • Coordinates the efforts of the multi-disciplinary teams in the execution of projects to ensure the team(s) meets performance goals and expectations.
  • Attends relevant meetings related to the project and keeps minutes.
  • Handles and prioritizes all correspondence related to the project (e-mail, letters, packages, checklist, timelines, etc.) and keeps leadership informed.
  • Develops clear project plans that allow teams to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Monitors plans on an ongoing basis and proactively adjusts, as necessary, to resolve barriers and/or issues.
  • Reconciles project expenses compared to project budgets and reviews the variances with LHCE executive leadership team.
  • Provides routine reporting on expenses in relation to budget.
  • Provides project management support to the service line Vice Presidents, Senior Directors and ambulatory leadership team.
  • Manages schedules and timelines to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Uses tracking systems and checklists to ensure consistency and communicate project management milestones.
  • Addresses budget, cost accounting and tracking of expenses to ensure fiscal stewardship.
  • Assists in assembling project plans, coordinating work efforts, identifying resource needs, quality review and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
  • Acts as primary point of contact for Timeshare tenants and coordinates all contractual obligations per our lease agreements.
  • Communicates with associated team members on key decisions, critical activities, key dates, and any issues that may arise throughout the process.
