About The Position
Weston Solutions, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Senior Environmental Scientist, Geologist, or Engineer for its US EPA START program. The role offers leadership opportunities and field experience on environmental and infrastructure assignments for the EPA Removal and pre-Remedial programs. Projects include hazardous waste site investigations, environmental assessments, removal actions, preparedness and prevention planning, emergency response to chemical and oil spills, and other technical assignments. Travel is required mainly throughout New England. The position is based in Billerica, Massachusetts.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience.
- B.S. degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Chemistry, Geology, Engineering, or another scientific discipline.
- 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER training.
- Direct on-scene experience with hazardous substances and oil releases and spills.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
- Strong organizational skills, ownership, and accountability.
- Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and anticipate team needs.
- Desire to support the mission of protecting public health and the environment.
- U.S. citizenship and ability to pass applicable background checks and regular drug screenings.
Responsibilities
