About The Position

Weston Solutions, Inc. is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Senior Environmental Scientist, Geologist, or Engineer for its US EPA START program. The role offers leadership opportunities and field experience on assignments supporting the EPA Removal and pre-Remedial programs. Projects include hazardous waste site investigations, environmental assessments, removal actions, preparedness and prevention planning, emergency response to chemical and oil spills, and other technical assignments. Travel is required, mainly throughout New England. The position is located in Billerica, Massachusetts, and requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to pass applicable background checks and regular drug screenings. The successful candidate will support the mission of protecting public health and the environment.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience.
• A bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Chemistry, Geology, Engineering, or another scientific discipline.
• 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER training.
• Direct on-scene experience with hazardous substances and oil releases and spills.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
• Solid organizational skills, ownership, and accountability.
• Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and anticipate team needs.
• U.S. citizenship.
• Ability to pass applicable background checks and regular drug screenings.
