About The Position

SLB New Energy & Industrial (NEI) is a division of SLB, focusing on energy innovation. Their Data Center infrastructure solutions business provides innovative and cost-effective solutions for building faster, smarter, and more resilient data centers. They offer modular infrastructure solutions that scale AI and cloud computing capacity while minimizing capital risk and deployment delays. Their approach standardizes components and utilizes controlled offsite environments to reduce costs, improve lead times, lower construction risk, and ensure quality and global repeatability. SLB is seeking a highly qualified and motivated Project Scheduling Manager to lead all planning and scheduling activities across Data Center projects. This role involves developing, maintaining, and analyzing integrated project schedules to ensure accurate visibility of progress, critical paths, and forecasted completion. The Project Scheduling Manager will play a key part in enabling proactive decision-making by identifying potential delays early and coordinating recovery actions with engineering, supply chain, and construction teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
  • 10-15 years of experience in project planning and scheduling for large-scale construction or industrial projects.
  • Expert knowledge of Primavera P6 and advanced scheduling methodologies.
  • Proven experience developing and maintaining integrated EPC or GC coordination schedules.
  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing, progress measurement, and earned value principles.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Candidates must be able to legally work and reside in the US, without sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience delivering large-scale data center facilities for major technology clients is highly preferred.
  • Professional certification such as PMI-SP, AACE PSP, or equivalent is preferred.
  • Experience with schedule analytics tools and Power BI dashboards is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain the overall project schedule covering engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases.
  • Lead schedule development in Primavera P6, ensuring alignment with project work breakdown structure (WBS) and execution strategy.
  • Conduct critical path, float, and what-if analyses to support project decisions and identify recovery opportunities.
  • Coordinate weekly and monthly updates, integrating progress from contractors, vendors, and internal functions.
  • Validate reported progress against actual site performance and milestones.
  • Prepare and issue schedule performance reports, including variance explanations and forecast completion dates.
  • Support change management by evaluating schedule impacts of scope or sequence changes.
  • Provide mentoring and guidance to schedulers and planners to maintain consistency and quality of schedule data.
