About The Position

We are seeking a Project Scheduler to join our team in Miami, FL. This role will require reporting to work Monday through Friday at the FDOT-D6 office. The ideal candidate will develop and manage transportation projects schedules using Primavera-P6 software for planning DOT construction projects in the District. Your role involves working knowledge and experience with Primavera P6 including milestones, activity codes, calendars, logic, etc. You will review and develop the District's Oracle-Primavera based schedules and schedule templates. You will follow written procedures and practices to create and maintain critical path method schedules for the Work Program. You will develop standardized P6 reports for District Management to assist in review, update and monitoring of schedules. You will perform scheduling data input/updates including earned-value information and schedule variance analysis. You will generate monthly reports with the status of all existing and new projects. You will support the scheduling training of District Project Managers, support staff, and others as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction, Quantity Surveying or a related engineering field, plus 4 years of relevant experience.
  • MS Excel and Primavera P6 required.
