This role will support cost, schedule, risk, and reporting needs across large construction efforts. The Project Scheduler will collaborate with project managers to develop and refine Estimates at Completion (EAC), develop and maintain detailed cash flow projections, and provide monthly and annual forecasts to leadership. This role will also review and validate major construction contracts, contractor deliverables, and milestone/progress payment schedules. The Project Scheduler will oversee financial transactions, PO commitments, and cost expenditures to ensure effective cost control, and develop, validate, and report annual cost variances to leadership. Additionally, the Project Scheduler will track and report project contingency usage and remaining balances to minimize cost overrun risk, complete monthly accruals for completed work and delivered materials in compliance with FERC accounting standards, and support project managers by maintaining the project risk register and facilitating regular risk review meetings. The Project Scheduler will develop and maintain integrated project schedules to support timely execution, perform strategic cost and schedule analysis in support of capital budget planning and IRP filings, and support preparation of weekly and monthly executive-level reports. This role will also review vendor invoices, purchase orders, and subcontractor expenses, generate internal labor cost reports and analyze cost variances, initiate cost transfers and journal entries to ensure proper cost allocation, and monitor milestones, deliverables, and dependencies to support on-time project completion. Candidates do not need to be experienced in every aspect listed above but should have a strong project controls foundation and be capable of learning systems and processes.
