About The Position

The Digital Modernization Sector at Leidos brings together digital transformation and IT programs to better serve customers through scale and repeatability. The NISC IV program is seeking a Project Scheduler to support the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Planning & Requirements Group, Terminal Program Implementation Team (PIT). This role involves project financial management and program scheduling for FAA Air Traffic Control projects. The candidate will collaborate with customers to plan, organize, and manage resources for successful program execution, overseeing scope, schedule, and budget performance. This includes coordinating with task and functional leaders, subcontractors, and support teams. Daily tasks involve using the FAA's Corporate Work Plan (CWP) and Primavera, monitoring project schedules, analyzing resources and schedules with a focus on project completion, and preparing and delivering reports.

Requirements

  • Experience in scheduling, reconciliation, maintenance of project funds and preparing reports on a recurring basis.
  • Demonstrated experience with Primavera.
  • Ability to obtain Public Trust Security clearance.
  • BA degree and 4+ years of prior relevant experience OR a Master’s degree with 2+ years of prior relevant experience OR Additional years of relevant experience may be considered/accepted in lieu of degree.
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust Security Clearance Suitability (To be eligible for Public Trust Security Clearance, one must be either a U.S. Citizen OR a U.S. Permanent Resident/Green Card holder who has resided in the U.S.A for the past 3 years of the past 5 years consecutively with no breaks).

  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite – Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support validating projects, schedules, and resources utilizing Primavera and/or Corporate Work Plan (CWP).
  • Generate Project Schedule Status and Resource Reports as well as ad hoc reports.
  • Develop and update networks, showing project interdependencies and resource requirements.
  • Maintain the CWP Workbook for the FAA on Air Traffic Control Tower (ATCT) projects.
  • Monitor budget authorizations, financial commitments, and obligated costs for various projects.
  • Track the status of various projects and prepare project milestone reports, obligation reports, validate cost status, and update Project Cost Plans.
  • Monitor and review capital asset transactions ensuring concurrence with Federal Financial Accounting Standards.
  • Provide support to Engineering Services Platforms in preparing preliminary and final Capitalization Authorization Forms (CAF) as needed.
  • Provide daily reconciliation using FAA enterprise databases such as Delphi, PRISM, and Primavera.
