About The Position

KBH Industrial is seeking a Project Scheduler for Nuclear Projects I, II, and III. This role involves scheduling project activities, performing schedule maintenance between Passport and Primavera, and assisting project managers in developing detailed plans and schedules for various projects including on-line, outage, and Enterprise Risk projects. The primary goal is to deliver timely, coherent, comprehensive, and accurate schedules for daily, on-line, and outage work periods.

Requirements

• Level I - Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, project management, business, or related field from accredited college or university OR Associate's degree in engineering, construction management, project management, business, or related technical curriculum from accredited college or university AND two years' experience in a technical field OR High School Diploma/GED AND four years' experience in a technical field.
• Level II - Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, project management, business, or related field from accredited college or university OR Associate's degree in engineering, construction management, project management, business, or related technical curriculum from accredited college or university AND two years' experience in a technical field OR High School Diploma/GED AND four years' experience in a technical field.
• Level III - Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, project management, business, or related field from accredited college or university OR Associate's degree in engineering, construction management, project management, business, or related technical curriculum from accredited college or university AND two years' experience in a technical field OR High School Diploma/GED AND four years' experience in a technical field.

Responsibilities

• Schedule project activities (date, time, sequence) for the Nuclear or Engineering Projects organizations.
• Perform schedule maintenance between Passport and Primavera scheduling tools.
• Assist various project managers in developing schedules for on-line, outage projects and life-cycle schedules, including Enterprise Risk projects.
• Develop detailed plans/schedules.
• Resolve conflicts with schedule adherence.
• Develop out-year schedules for various size projects.
• Manage project activities for refueling outages, forced outages, and on-line work as assigned.
• Provide oversight of staff involved in planning, leading, controlling, and monitoring to ensure work is implemented safely, with quality, on schedule, and within budget.
• Oversee all aspects of project implementation including budget, work package preparation, parts procurement, ALARA planning, industrial and nuclear safety, clearance order preparation, work prioritization, resource loading, risk management, and work execution including resolution of schedule delays and conflicts.
• Develop budgets, including tracking cost versus budget for assigned projects.
• Assure proper progress and focus through frequent interface with the client, engineers, related parties, and management.
• Develop and manage contracts and interface with vendors.
• Develop project schedules commensurate with project complexity and size with the goal of being able to manage risk, accurately track progress, enforce accountability, and manage critical path and float.
• Mentor other less experienced project managers.
• Prepare and deliver written and oral communications to various groups including senior management.
• Develop and maintain long range plan strategies associated with assigned projects.
• Support effective implementation of the Self-Assessment and Corrective Action Program.
• Support outage support including OCC.
