About The Position

This is a temporary contract position for a Project Scheduler with an estimated duration of 12 months, potentially with extensions. The role requires 100% of the time to be spent at the Client's site in Jupiter West, FL. No telecommuting or remote work is allowed. Candidates must be able to relocate as required. This opportunity is being filled through approved staffing partners, not directly by the client. The role involves developing and maintaining integrated project and outage schedules, coordinating with project managers and discipline leads, establishing and maintaining schedule baselines, monitoring progress, and reporting on schedule performance. The scheduler will integrate multi-discipline work packages, identify critical path activities and risks, and develop recovery plans. Additionally, the role includes developing computerized critical-path schedules for maintenance activities and outages, and defining procedures, drawings, equipment, and materials for planned work packages.

Requirements

  • Availability to work at the Client’s site in Jupiter West, FL (required)
  • Scheduling experience in a nuclear, power generation, or heavy industrial environment (3-5 years)
  • Experience with Primavera P6 or equivalent scheduling software.
  • Availability to work at the Client’s site in Juno Beach, FL (required)
  • Primavera P6 Scheduling software experience (4+ years)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction, Business Management or similar field

Nice To Haves

  • Scheduling experience (3+ years)
  • Experience in Project Management with experience in tracking project plans against schedule baselines and performing ad-hoc analyses. (4+ years)

Responsibilities

  • Develops and maintains integrated project and outage schedules using Primavera P6 or equivalent scheduling tools.
  • Coordinates with project managers and discipline leads to define activity sequences, durations, and resource loading.
  • Establishes and maintains schedule baselines, monitors progress, and issues regular schedule performance reports.
  • Integrates multi-discipline work packages into a cohesive schedule that accounts for plant operational windows, outage milestones, and regulatory hold points.
  • Identifies critical path activities and near-critical float risks, developing recovery plans and contingency logic as needed.
  • Responsible for the development of computerized critical-path schedules for day-to-day maintenance activities as well as for refueling and maintenance outages.
  • Defines procedures, drawings, equipment and materials required to perform planned work packages.
