About The Position

We need a Project Safety Director to take full command of EH&S on a high-risk, $1B+ construction project - leading a team of 4-10 safety reps, sitting at the table with senior project leadership, and setting the safety standard for one of the region's most significant builds. If you've got the experience, the certifications, and the presence to lead at this level, this is the role that gets you there.

Requirements

13+ years of construction safety experience
Bachelor's in Safety or related field, or equivalent combo of education/training/experience
Proven management experience, you know how to delegate and direct a team
Deep incident investigation expertise
OSHA 30, current CPR/First Aid/AED
CHST (or willing to obtain within 6 months)
Comfortable with MS Office and EHS software platforms

Nice To Haves

Experience leading safety on Mega projects ($500M+)
Experience leading safety on Data centers
Experience leading safety on Heavy civil projects
Experience leading safety on Industrial or manufacturing expansions
Experience leading safety on Mission critical facilities

Responsibilities

Own EH&S strategy and execution for the entire project site
Lead and mentor a team of 4-10 safety representatives
Direct and lead incident investigations from start to resolution
Set the vision, goals, and continuous improvement strategy alongside senior leadership
Build a best-in-class safety culture that becomes the project standard
Manage safety budget, staffing, and resource allocation
