About The Position

Marsh is seeking a Project Risk Associate Client Advisor in Atlanta. This is a hybrid role that will require going into the office 3x per week. The Client Advisor will act as a Program Manager in the Central zone, providing specific advice, service, and solution delivery to clients and prospects regarding their program management. This role is responsible for managing an account load and is viewed as a trusted business advisor and point person by clients through demonstrated practice expertise and ability to manage the breadth of Marsh’s resources. The Client Advisor will serve as a liaison between the Service Offices, Client Executives, Risk Practices, and clients with domestic engagements. They will align clients with the appropriate Marsh resources by identifying local and international experts as needed, partner with the Risk Practices on the placement of business, interact with insurers to ensure proper documentation is produced, and aid in account retention and growing the business via cross-selling.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 3 years relevant work experience in insurance (wrap-up/construction insurance)
  • Technical product line experience
  • P&C license required or ability to obtain

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks based on urgency

Responsibilities

  • Be a member of the project risk advisory team, assisting owners, developers and contractors with wrap-up program design and project administration for large local and national construction projects.
  • Execution of Marsh project specific casualty solutions, which can include multi-site and rolling wrap-up programs.
  • Act as an advocate and advisor for clients leveraging the full breadth of Marsh’s expertise in construction with a particular focus on the Southcentral Region.
  • Lead regular client stewardship meetings.
  • Act as liaison to other Marsh risk practices and services, including Claims Advocacy and Marsh Risk Consulting.
  • Support more senior Advisory colleagues to reach business goals and RFP’s.
  • Build and maintain client and market contact at appropriate levels to execute effectively on client’s program.
  • Contribute to client retention and growth through excellence in service.
