About The Position

We are looking for a Project or Program Manager to bring in on a contract-to-hire capacity. We are looking for PMP certified candidates to come in as they start to build out the team that will help standardize the way they drive projects across the organization. Currently they do not have a formal PMO office, but are looking to start hiring PM's that can help them get to the final state in 2027. They currently they have over 20 projects in flight through 2027 and are hiring for someone that can work directly with projects as well as start to recommend best practices as they continue to build more structure to how projects are run thru their life cycle. They use both Waterfall & Agile methodologies across the organization, typically non-IT groups are Waterfall and IT projects are going to be more Agile based. From a technology project standpoint they are looking for a focus in Network Security, Application vetting & application vendor management, as well as Infrastructure, and AI project history. Currently their team supporting project management is small and consists of an IT PM, another resource, and a couple of BA's and typically each project will have internal sponsors that are responsible for gathering requirements, project plans, etc. Eventually they see this team continuing to grow larger and becoming it's own department within the company, but likely formal growth of that nature will be for 2027 and beyond.
