About The Position

Dizolve is seeking an ambitious Project & Process Engineer to join their team in Moncton, New Brunswick. This role is ideal for an engineer early in their career who wants exposure to every aspect of manufacturing, from automation and process optimization to new product commercialization and capital projects. The company is a leading manufacturer of eco-friendly laundry detergent sheets and is focused on innovation and sustainable manufacturing. The engineer will work alongside experienced leaders, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and gain hands-on experience. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred), Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or another related engineering discipline.
  • Registered as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Professional Engineer (P.Eng.), or eligible for registration with Engineers New Brunswick.
  • Approximately 2–7 years of engineering experience in manufacturing, co-op placements, internships, or relevant industrial environments.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the confidence to work directly with operators, tradespeople, suppliers, and senior leadership.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities.
  • A hands-on mindset—you enjoy being on the production floor just as much as working behind a computer.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with manufacturing equipment, automation, process improvement, or capital projects is considered an asset.
  • Exposure to Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement methodologies is an asset.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office and 3D CAD software is beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Lead capital projects from concept through installation, commissioning, and operational handover.
  • Support the scale-up of new products from laboratory development into commercial manufacturing.
  • Improve manufacturing processes by identifying waste, bottlenecks, quality opportunities, and productivity improvements.
  • Develop equipment specifications, layouts, and process improvements to support business growth.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, contractors, vendors, and project documentation.
  • Collaborate with R&D, Operations, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain to successfully execute projects.
  • Analyze manufacturing data and develop practical engineering solutions that improve safety, quality, efficiency, and cost.
  • Participate in equipment selection, installation, validation, and startup activities.
  • Develop engineering standards, work instructions, and technical documentation.
  • Support Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Troubleshoot complex manufacturing and equipment issues.
  • Build strong relationships across all levels of the organization while driving positive change.
