About The Position

Choice Hotels, one of the world’s largest lodging franchisors, has an exciting new opportunity as our Project Portfolio Analyst 2 in the Technology Portfolio Planning team. The Portfolio Planning team helps Choice prioritize, plan, and track technology work across the company so the most important initiatives are delivered efficiently and transparently. As Choice continues to evolve toward more product-oriented planning and delivery practices, this role helps ensure visibility, alignment, and clarity across the technology portfolio. This role is not eligible for sponsorship AND is four days onsite hybrid at our N. Scottsdale office.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in related field required, or equivalent experience
  • At least 2 years’ experience in portfolio analysis, capacity planning, reporting, or related analytical roles
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Experience with portfolio or work management and reporting tools such as Smartsheet, Tempus Resource, or similar platforms
  • Demonstrates key competencies to include driving results, strong collaboration, and effective communication.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in or supporting a product-oriented operating model is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain technology projects portfolios, including capacity modeling, resource planning, scheduling, and forecasting
  • Develop and deliver portfolio-level reporting, dashboards, and metrics for stakeholders and executive leadership
  • Balance portfolio demand, capacity, and priorities across teams in an increasingly product-oriented environment
  • Partner with resource managers to align work assignments with available capacity and forecasted demand
  • Track portfolio changes, including new requests, prioritization updates, and in-flight project changes
  • Apply portfolio governance practices across the project lifecycle, including intake, prioritization, and reporting standards
  • Support and administer portfolio management tools, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and usability
  • Perform ad hoc analysis related to project demand, resource capacity, budgets, and portfolio performance
