AECOM Canada is searching for a Project Planning and Scheduling Specialist for a new full-time position based in Markham. This role involves leading the development of Master schedules for Programs, working with various teams, stakeholders, and Clients. The specialist will also lead the development and implementation of project schedules as needed, evaluate the schedule impact of proposed changes, and maintain client-level schedules. Collaboration with other program schedulers to align and integrate schedule interfaces into the master program schedule is crucial. The role requires providing schedule reporting and critical path analysis, identifying and managing schedule risks, and communicating with stakeholders. Involvement in schedule and project status review sessions, highlighting adverse schedule variances for corrective actions, and performing construction schedule reviews and quality checks are key responsibilities. The specialist will also prepare schedule-related reports, assist in WBS development and coding implementation, support schedule analysis and variance investigation, and gather data for schedule updating, progress measurement, and network updating. Familiarity with engineering workflows, basic construction methodology, CPM scheduling concepts, scope control, change management, and Earned Value Management KPIs is expected.
