About The Position

As a Project Planner, you will coordinate manufacturing execution activities from project release through final delivery. You will serve as a key link between Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Project Management, ensuring you properly plan, prioritize, release, and execute manufacturing work. The Manufacturing Project Planner works closely with shop planners, supervisors, engineers, and project teams to support production readiness, monitor progress, and drive successful project execution across the facility. You will report to the Reactor Vessel Internals Engineering Manager and be located at Newington, NH. You will support this role 100% onsite.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Manufacturing, Operations Management, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience in manufacturing, production planning, project coordination, operations, engineering, or a related discipline is required.
  • 3+ years of experience with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP.
  • Experience with scheduling software, such as Primavera P6.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of machining, fabrication, welding, inspection, or other manufacturing processes is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate manufacturing priorities across machining, fabrication, welding, inspection, and assembly operations.
  • Coordinate resources to ensure schedule adherence, including people, machines (availability / level loading), material, programs, tooling, and paperwork.
  • Work with machine shop, fabrication, and quality planners to align production activities with project schedules and customer commitments.
  • Track the status of manufacturing activities and provide visibility to project teams and management.
  • Coordinate creation of manufacturing work orders and production packages with engineering personnel.
  • Oversee release readiness of manufacturing work orders, ensuring required engineering, quality, material, and production inputs are complete before release to operations.
  • Support daily production planning and execution meetings, helping resolve barriers to production.
  • Partner with operations leadership, project teams, and resource planners to support capacity planning and resource prioritization activities.
  • Provide manufacturing progress, schedule risk, and execution status inputs to Component Delivery and Project Controls teams.
  • Coordinate resolution of production constraints and support schedule recovery efforts.
  • Promote continuous improvement of manufacturing planning, work order management, and execution processes.
