About The Position

The A220 commercial aircraft Programme is looking for a Project Planner - new development project to join our Fleet Efficiency team based in Mirabel (Québec, Canada), where you will work jointly with the rest of the A220 Program organization in the objective to improve the A220 fleet performance in service and ensuring Customer Services impacts and required deliverables as part of the new development project are defined and secured. Reporting to the Head of Supplier Support Management & Continuous Development and the Customer Services Leader, you will contribute to the basic mission of the Fleet Efficiency team to ensure safe & economic operation of the Airbus A220 fleet in-service while continuously improving the Customer satisfaction. The team organization is established to promote cross-collaboration autonomously, supporting each other and learning collectively. Your role as Project Planner - new development project will be to work on the project management of Customer Services deliverables and requirements; create and manage the schedules of the different projects impacting Customer Support activities.

Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering, in Business administration, in Project management, or the equivalent
  • Demonstrate strong project management skills, including agile approach
  • Experience with Schedule management software such as MS project / Planisware (or equivalent Gantt chart)
  • High level of commitment and sense of responsibilities while having the desire to share knowledge in project management
  • Person concerned by the quality of the deliverables of the project
  • At ease to evolve in an environment where the priorities are changing rapidly
  • Self-organized, time management, high level of autonomy and drive
  • Person that can manage multiple priorities at the same time

Responsibilities

  • Implement and follow schedule processes in order to ensure the Customer Support project’s objectives are successfully achieved
  • Create a strong link with the A220 Customer Services Business Units (BU) to gain an in-depth understanding of critical business requirements and to be able to identify the exhaustive Customer Services deliverables list (including related inputs and outputs)
  • Assist the Program Support team, the Customer Services Leader and Program Support Manager in project management of the Customer Services deliverables and requirements in particular the coordination of the internal and external activities between the different A220 Customer Services BU and the rest of the company
  • Manage projects under your supervision based on the best project management practices (including LBIP) especially by putting in place the required planification and by doing its follow-up while managing interdependencies in your project and with the others
  • Be responsible for utilizing project management software tools (Planisware) and techniques to create, maintain/update, and control the Project schedules
  • Monitor project progress, update schedules as needed, and communicate with stakeholders to ensure projects stay on track
  • Provide Project schedule control by assisting the project team to manage changes to the Project schedule which includes baseline change control
  • Implement the required dashboard to follow project deliverables progression and any other related indicator
  • Plan the right resources at the right moment of the project while taking into account the operational reality of deliveries
  • Optimize project efficiency, resource allocation, and overall project success
  • Implement the cost follow-up required for the projects under your management and ensure its maintaining
  • Collaborate to financial exercises and to make the necessary follow-ups
