About The Position

The Project Planner/Coordinator is responsible for scheduling manufacturing projects from engineering through to shipment. This role coordinates between engineering, supply chain, and manufacturing to provide delivery dates for sales quotations. They create schedules for multi-module projects which enables engineering, procurement, assembly, test, and shipping teams to effectively execute projects. The Project Planner/Coordinator continuously monitors projects to identify and address issues that may affect the schedule, and reports on projects status/risk, schedule, issues, and plan versus actual costs. This role also acts as a liaison within operations to enable the effective flow of information and materials, and improves and maintains standard build plans by working with assembly teams, engineering, manufacturing engineering and sales. All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Two – four years of relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Demonstrated communication, organization, and planning skills.
  • Proven problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of XA and MRP or an equivalent ERP system is required.

Nice To Haves

  • An associate degree in a technical or business-related discipline is preferred.
