About The Position

HANSONS is looking for a Project Operations Manager to lead our Project Coordinator and Branch Coordinator teams and drive execution across our growing, multi-location home improvement business. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who knows how to lead people, manage through data, solve operational problems, and create accountability in a fast-paced environment. Your mission is simple: keep projects moving. You'll lead the teams responsible for helping customer projects progress from project readiness through installation and collection—ensuring available work gets scheduled, installation capacity is utilized, revenue is realized, customers are communicated with, and operational barriers are resolved quickly.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in operations, project coordination, scheduling, installation operations, or a related field
  • 2+ years of people leadership experience preferred
  • Proven ability to lead and develop teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience managing performance through KPIs, dashboards, or operational scorecards
  • Ability to identify problems, establish ownership, and drive solutions through completion
  • Strong communication and cross-functional leadership skills
  • High sense of urgency, accountability, and follow-through

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting multiple locations or markets is a plus
  • Power BI experience is a plus
  • Experience in home improvement, construction, installation, field service, or another high-volume operational environment is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop our Project Coordinator and Branch Coordinator teams
  • Drive project progression, installation readiness, and scheduling across multiple locations
  • Maximize available installation capacity and help drive install revenue performance
  • Monitor operational KPIs, aging projects, collections, and other key performance indicators
  • Allocate team resources based on workload, business priorities, and customer needs
  • Create clear performance expectations and hold team members accountable for results
  • Identify and resolve barriers that cause projects or revenue to stall
  • Partner closely with General Managers, Service, Permits, installation teams, and other operational leaders
  • Improve workflows and identify opportunities to streamline or automate processes
  • Lead the team through evolving processes, systems, and business needs
