For more information, please visit our website: https://www.mdaturbines.com MD&A is seeking a highly motivated Project Operations Intern to assist our Outage Services Division in San Antonio, TX. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in data analysis, reporting, and business administration within a dynamic team environment. The intern will work 20-30 hours per week Fall 2025, with the possibility of continuing through 2026. This in-person internship is paid at $21/hour and can be credit-bearing. As an intern supporting the Operations Technology team, you will have the opportunity to: Assist team members with documenting existing workflows and help identify potential automation solutions using tools such as Power Automate and Excel macros, gaining firsthand experience with these technologies. Support in updating and standardizing technical equipment data sheets, ensuring accuracy and proper maintenance within the Internal Library, while developing a keen eye for detail. Help maintain documentation and information that aids operations and field teams, both during site activities and when preparing job closure documents, allowing you to learn from real operational processes. Aid field teams in accessing and utilizing digital tools by creating user training materials and offering hands-on assistance, supporting tool adoption and reducing IT support requirements—all while expanding your communication and tech skills. Participate in projects focused on increasing operational efficiency, minimizing process delays, and enhancing data visibility across platforms such as SharePoint, CRM, and Epicor. Work alongside engineering, quality, and operations colleagues to gather feedback, test new tools, and contribute to technology updates, providing valuable experience in cross-functional teamwork and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate student majoring in engineering or technology data analysis.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Excel and Power Apps.
  • Residing in the San Antonio area.

Responsibilities
