About The Position

NV5 is seeking motivated candidates with 15+ years of engineering/project management experience for Senior Highway Engineer/Project Manager roles within our Civil Transportation/Roadway Department in Morristown, NJ. These positions include Project Managers and Deputy Project Managers. The role involves working in a team environment and supervising project design teams. Requirements

15+ years of engineering/project management experience
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (BSCE)
NJ PE License

Familiarity with TAP and SRTS projects through NJDOT Local Aid

Responsibilities

Supervise/Manage transportation and civil related projects, including providing technical oversight to engineering staff.
Understand tasks required in the preparation of roadway/highway designs and plan development from conceptual design thru final contract documents.
Client interaction and Community Involvement.
Collaborate with multidiscipline design engineers and technicians.
Participation in NJ office senior staff meetings, collaboration, and contribution to overall office performance.
Manage project budgets and schedules, and adherence to a project’s scope of work.
Participate in professional organizations and technical societies.
