About The Position

As a Project Manager, you will lead projects from inception to successful completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and according to scope. You will coordinate resources, manage risks, and maintain alignment with organizational goals and client expectations. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills, along with the ability to drive project execution while ensuring adherence to established processes and methodologies.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of project management or similar experience.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, ensuring prompt and accurate time entry.
  • Flexibility to work in a hybrid/remote environment with occasional in-person meetings at CIT’s office or customer’s office.
  • Authorization to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

  • Certifications such as Project+, CAPM, PMP, or Agile/Scrum are a plus.
  • Familiarity with IT infrastructure, security, and cloud solutions.
  • Experience in project scheduling, resource allocation, and risk mitigation

Responsibilities

  • Understand project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including schedules, resource allocation, and budget forecasts.
  • Assign and schedule tasks to team members best suited for each activity, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Track project status against established milestones, escalating issues and deviations as needed.
  • Organize and lead project meetings, including kick-off, progress updates, and closure sessions.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project communication, maintaining alignment between internal teams, external stakeholders, and clients.
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and proactive issue resolution.
  • Monitor and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle to minimize impacts on schedule, budget, and quality.
  • Perform quality control checks at key milestones to ensure deliverables meet established standards and client expectations.
  • Adjust schedules, targets, or deliverables as needed to accommodate project changes while maintaining overall objectives.
  • Maintain a fundamental understanding of IT infrastructure, security, and cloud solutions to support project success.
  • Ensure accurate and timely time entry for all project-related activities.
