Christensen Farms owns three feed mills, manages 140,000 sows on 44 farms, and oversees more than 350 nurseries and grow-finish sites. Join our team! Position Overview: The Project Manager is responsible for leading and executing projects that align with Christensen Farms' annual business plan and strategic initiatives. This role drives projects from concept through implementation, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and achievement of business objectives. The Project Manager partners cross-functionally, builds strong stakeholder relationships, and proactively drives solutions that support organizational success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 2–3 years of project management experience, preferably in business solutions
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail
  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and drive results
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Experience with project management tools and methodologies

Responsibilities

  • Lead projects from initiation through completion, ensuring alignment with scope, timeline, and budget
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive alignment on project goals and deliverables
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, documentation, and communication updates
  • Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively communicate project status
  • Facilitate meetings and ensure accountability for action items and outcomes
  • Analyze business processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
