The Project Manager is responsible for the successful delivery of small, medium, and enterprise projects achieved through comprehensive planning, strong organizational skills, and thorough communications. Provided solutions typically include an integrated mix of video surveillance, access control, communication systems and burglar/alarm protection. This candidate’s primary goal is to deliver a quality implementation experience that exceeds the expectations of the Customer while meeting both the budget and the committed timelines.

Requirements

  • Strong technical background in video surveillance, access control (3-7+ years)
  • Project management and scheduling experience preferred
  • Strong organizational & leadership skills
  • Superior written and verbal communications skills
  • The confidence and ability to present to large groups and or audiences
  • The ability to work under pressure and with a sense of urgency to deadlines
  • The ability to multi-task, prioritize and effectively manage one’s time

Nice To Haves

  • Ideal product line experience: Genetec, Software House, OpenPath, Avigilon, Axis, S2, AD, DSC, Bosch
  • ConnectWise experience is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Management & oversight of projects, implementations, and initiatives
  • Schedule/coordinate activities of internal resources (Engineers, Field Technicians)
  • Predict resources needed to reach objectives and effectively and efficiently manage resources.
  • Support the ongoing development of project documentation, publish & update supporting project plans.
  • Lead internal & customer project team meetings (including onsite meetings).
  • Resolve and/or escalate project issues impacting the provisioning effort.
  • Maintain continuous communications with the customer throughout the course of the project.
  • Provide ongoing updates to Account Managers on the progress of the project & related issues.
  • Coordinate the closeout documentation effort with internal resources.
  • Assist the Account Manager in closeout meetings with customer to complete final acceptance & account transition.
