About The Position

CESO is seeking a Project Manager in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction field to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to develop your career within a company that focuses on finding purpose through serving others. The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering projects on time and within budget, acquiring resources, coordinating team members and third-party contractors, defining project objectives, overseeing quality control, and managing invoicing and accounts receivable. The Project Manager will also serve as the primary client contact, representing CESO in all project-related communications from initial effort through post-agreement marketing activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering or related field, with a minimum of 4 years of experience directly managing projects in a design and construction related field is preferred; Or 10 years related experience and/or training is required.
  • Computer skills necessary to enter daily timesheet data and use Microsoft Outlook for email correspondence.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Suite products, Deltek, and Newforma.

Nice To Haves

  • Professional Licensure (RA, PE, PS, RLA) is preferred.
  • PMP certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare proposals for professional services, including scope, schedule, fee budget, fee negotiations, change order preparation, monthly billing, and contract negotiations.
  • Accountable for the team’s quality of work, productivity, and actions.
  • Lead and manage the full lifecycle of architecture and engineering projects from initiation through closeout.
  • Serve as the primary client contact, managing relationships, expectations, and communications.
  • Oversee project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate multi-disciplinary project teams, ensuring technical quality, schedule adherence, and financial performance.
  • Develop and monitor project work plans, including task assignments and deliverables for internal teams and subconsultants.
  • Prepare contracts, change orders, fee proposals, and client billing.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, regulations, standards, and client requirements.
  • Proactively identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Lead internal project meetings and client presentations; prepare progress reports and other project documentation.
  • Contribute to business development efforts, including proposal development and project interviews.
  • Responsible for billing, invoicing, and tracking/managing client accounts receivable in collaboration with the accounting department.
  • Supervise direct reports.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
