About The Position

As a Project Manager at Unitek Insulation, you’ll lead projects from start-up through completion, bringing field operations, resources, schedules, budgets, and client expectations together. Working alongside our Operations Team, field crews, and project support staff, you’ll solve challenges, manage project priorities, and deliver quality results safely and profitably.

Requirements

  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, plans, specifications, and project documents.
  • Strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize competing demands, and make sound decisions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Able to obtain and maintain required security clearances and access credentials for military bases, secured locations, and customer sites.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Nice To Haves

  • Two or more years of project management experience preferred.
  • Previous construction or related field experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead project start-up and turnover activities, including reviewing project scope, budgets, work plans, submittals, and pre-construction requirements.
  • Coordinate site access, project logistics, and pre-construction and jobsite meetings, ensuring field teams have the information, materials, and equipment needed to perform the work.
  • Conduct regular jobsite visits to monitor productivity, quality, safety, equipment readiness, and compliance with project requirements.
  • Resolve project concerns, address deficiencies, and work with the Safety Director and Operations Team to keep projects on track.
  • Monitor project costs, resource usage, schedules, and productivity to support profitable project completion and meet or improve scheduled completion dates.
  • Oversee project documentation, including daily reports, timesheets, progress billing, change orders, and close-out requirements.
