About The Position

As a Project Manager, you will lead and execute multi-discipline projects, ensuring successful delivery across scope, schedule, budget, quality, resources, and risk while aligning project outcomes with Philips business objectives. Your role involves initiating, planning, and executing multi-discipline projects in accordance with agreed specifications, timelines, budgets, staffing requirements, and quality standards, ensuring successful delivery and stakeholder satisfaction. You will manage and balance project scope, schedule, budget, quality, resources, risks, and issues throughout the project lifecycle while monitoring and optimizing the business case to maximize organizational value and impact. Building and maintaining strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, managing expectations and customer feedback, proactively addressing issues, and providing detailed project progress, risk, and escalation reporting to senior management and steering committees are key aspects of this role. You will also apply and reinforce Philips project management standards and methodologies, including the Philips Business System (PBS), Philips Excellence Process Framework (PEPF), PMBOK, and SAFe, ensuring projects are executed in accordance with organizational expectations and industry best practices.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in project management, business strategy, or a related area with a Bachelor’s degree; no prior professional experience is required with a relevant Master’s degree.
  • Experience supporting or managing projects involving scope, schedule, budget, resources, risk, and multiple stakeholders.
  • Skills include project planning and execution, stakeholder management, risk and issue management, budget and resource management, cross-functional team collaboration, business case optimization, and project reporting.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and frameworks, including PMBOK and SAFe, and the ability to apply established project management standards in a business environment.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or an equivalent field.
  • Effective communicator and collaborative project leader with strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Comfortable guiding diverse, multi-discipline teams, working with limited supervision, managing competing priorities, proactively escalating risks and issues, and communicating project status and recommendations to senior leaders and steering committees.
