About The Position

Celerity Integrated Services is seeking a full-time Project Manager for its Fiber Optic Splicing department. This role is responsible for managing multiple jobs within the department, overseeing all resources (labor, materials, subcontractors, equipment) to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet customer expectations. The Project Manager will work under the direction of the department manager.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of telecommunications experience in ISP/OSP.
  • Ability to manage multiple aggressive job schedules.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, specifications, and scopes of work.
  • Microsoft Office 365 proficiency required.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • OSHA 30 course for Construction.

  • BA in a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform Bid Walks and attend customer meetings.
  • Assist Bidding & Estimating with Level of Efforts (LOEs) for bids, including manpower, subcontractors, equipment, material, and time.
  • Coordinate manpower, subcontractors, equipment, material, lodging, fueling, and staging for projects.
  • Work with Field Superintendents to oversee project activities and ensure completion within budget.
  • Ensure all safety protocols and procedures are met on job sites.
  • Review documentation of manpower, equipment usage, materials, and subcontractors against the budget.
  • Seek alternate completion methodologies to outperform the as-bid model and share findings.
  • Notify the Department Manager and Bidding & Estimating of any Change Orders and assist with LOE compilation and customer approval.
  • Review Daily Performance Reports (DPRs) for accuracy and project performance.
  • Make necessary corrections to time records.
  • Compare project progress against job budget and take corrective measures.
  • Complete project close-out documentation.
  • Approve project-related invoices.
  • Address customer-related issues and escalate to the Department Manager if necessary.
  • Assess field personnel talent and provide input to the Department Manager.
  • Assist the Department Manager with project invoicing.
  • Participate in the department's on-call rotation, including dispatching crews and acting as a liaison between the NOC and the field.
  • Perform additional assignments as directed by the Department Manager.
